Malua announces her retirement from the stage as a DJ: “The end of an era”

We lost track of Malua quite some time ago; one of the few and most recognized female DJs in hardstyle who belonged to the Scantraxx label.

A few days ago, the artist through her networks indicated that she no longer felt the motivation of this project that led her to tour many countries in the world, play in countless shows and gain the affection of people from all the places where she played, including Chile, as one of his favorites. It is not for nothing that several of her video clips are records of our country.

“My energy has changed and I am in search of other goals. I think now is the time to finish my hardstyle career.”

Comment Malua

The artist is currently dedicated to working on her own brand in the facial care business of which she feels very proud and where today she sees her future. However she leaves a big mark as several of her releases are quite popular playing on the biggest stages of European festivals such as Defqon.1 Festival, Intents festival, The Qontinent to name a few. In addition, the artist maintained a podcast called Malua Mixtape until 3 years ago, which can still be heard on her YouTube channel.

Without a doubt, the pandemic affected all artists in different ways, so many were forced to look for a new economic source due to the suspension of festivals and fortunately Malua found in her venture the solution to that problem that everyone was affected.

“A thank you to everyone, to those who gave me the opportunity on this path. Thank you to everyone who supported me and came to my sets. I made an incredible amount of good memories which I will cherish forever.”

Malua adds in her farewell.

She closes her message by indicating that as a big fan of hardstyle, she will continue attending festivals where she can be found but now on the other side of the machines.

With sadness we say goodbye to her as a DJ, but like her, we will be left with beautiful memories of her visits to Chile, her great charisma, sympathy, dedication to each of the fans and to us as Bassmusic by sharing her material, being part of interviews and always receiving us with a smile.

Thank you very much Malua! We will not forget you!
