The truth behind the alleged plagiarism of Radical Redemption

The co-founder of Minus is More has been embroiled in controversy over one of his last works.

It's the track «Sacrifice», Which was performed in March during episode number 146 Podcast of MOH and, according to many fans of hard sounds, closely resembles the track «Meat»From the producer The Satan.

Doubts and questions about whether this is some kind of alliance between both hardcore led the artist to publish a statement denying any relationship with Radical Redemption and clarifies that he does not understand what happened.

Since a lot of people have sent me questions about this track probably have to say a couple of words about it.
1) This is not a collab with me, not a remix, mashup, bootleg or whatever.
2) Yes, like many of you, I hear and recognize the kick of my track "Meat" in this song.
3) I have no idea why they did that.

After the statement, the controversy grew to such an extent that it was Joey van Ingen who had to calm the waters explaining what happened.

Well, just to clarify, let me tell you how it happened.
I, as a drummer and hardcore fanatic, visited Unity radio (as I usually do). This is when I first heard the track "Meat".
I was really amazed with the use of patterns kick / distortion / drum beats and vibe in general.
It inspired me a lot to make a track like that, so I went to the studio immediately.
And obviously I really also liked the style kicks, but there is a difference between knowing how to create something or directly steal.
There is something called A.D.N. in music, which we called Waveform. As you can see, it is not identical, but I wanted to create something, because I think it's an amazing style, love Drum patterns and the vibe in general.
If you look at these kicks, you can even see that kicks Meat are thinner.
I really delved into the sound of Satan, I was inspired by him and used it to create this track.

In short, Joey assumes that Satan effectively track inspired a lot to work on its own version, but then to copy it there is a very large space.

Without wanting to make value judgments, we leave both tracks so you you who draw their own conclusions.

The day that Radical Redemption calls out Deetox

This episode brought to mind while Radical Redemption accused Deetox plagiarizing the psystyle kick of Sub Zero Project, in the version of Bring the Riot 2017.

This controversy eventually led the artist to declare that it was also much inspired by the sound of them, but never steal your work so to avoid unjust accusations, he was willing even to change their kick. Everything finally ended with a public apology from Joe who assumed it was not the best way to raise your opinion.

People, after talking to Diana on the phone, let me say this.
Yesterday I made a statement about something really important in my career, artistic integrity.
While I'm 100% behind this statement, I know it was not the best way to do it. He climbed in a manner not displayed.

So apologies!

Joey.
