Scantraxx changes its brand design

Scantraxx is undoubtedly one of the most popular and long-lived hardstyle labels in the world, recognized by its brand in [S] and created by the father of hardstyle DJ The Prophet. However, after the departure of its founder and definitive retirement from the stage by The Prophet, Scantraxx wanted to give a somewhat radical and innovative change to the label's classic logo after 22 years.

In an industry that thrives on creativity and innovation, staying ahead means constantly evolving. As a pioneering Hard Dance record label, we at SCANTRAXX have always recognized the importance of not just following trends, but setting them. After 22 years with our distinctive brand, we have reached a pivotal moment when it is time for a significant change: a new chapter that reflects our growth and willingness to innovate!

The new logo is based on the final pronunciation and writing that is very opposite to the current one that is born from the initial of its writing and pronunciation. That is, from being S-cantraxx, now the phonetics and branding places more emphasis on scantra-XX. This also entails the change of the logos of the Scantraxx sublabels such as Nexxus where the new generations unite and Prospexx for the future stars of tomorrow.

What do you think of this somewhat radical change?

Personally, as Bassmusic, we believe that they have killed the strong concept of what Scantraxx was as a label, as The Prophet created it. Without a doubt they have wanted to generate positive change but after 22 years of an intact, consolidated and recognized brand, turning things around like this is not always positive.
